B. C. 39 32 If one is called Extralimit urged SEATTLE (AP) Gov. Ray should not call a special session of the Legislature to deal with budget cuts without a firm agenda of no more than a month, says the Senate majority leader. "I think she'll eventually call it." said Sen.

Gordon Walgren (D. Bremerton). "She'll need the Legislature to share the misery of a reduced budget." Walgren made his remarks in an interview with a Seattle newspaper. Schools, cities and counties are seeking a special session. They will lose millions of dollars because of reduced revenues caused by removal of the state sales tax on food.

"I can't say I'm for the session until we see just what the state revenue situation is," Walgren said. "We won't know that until the end of the year. RICHLAND (AP) Bonnie Jo Kenyon, 46, died Monday of injuries from the crash of a small plane near West Richland. Authorities said her husband Dale was the pilot of the plane when it went down Sunday in an alfalfa field. He was hospitalized in serious but stable condition with chest and leg injuries.

A Benton County sheriff's deputy who witnessed the crash said the plane's engine apparently failed moments after takeoff from the Pasco airport. The crash is under investigation. "But if the House and Senate can't reach agreement on its length and subjects, a session would be a mistake," he said. The deadline for completing business should be "30 days or less." Walgren said. Only Gov.

Dixy Lee Ray can call the Legislature into special session. She has said repeatedly that she has not yet heard good reason to do so. Walgren said he doubted that other taxes would be increased to make up for the lost revenue. However. the Legislature might grant cities and counties slightly more taxing power, he said.

Rep. Al Williams (D- Seattle) already has asked for such a measure to offset the $11-million tax loss to cities and towns and the $6-million loss to counties as a result of the partial sales tax repeal.
